Remarks:
Possibly a miniature saddle tree making tool. A small rectangular block of wood with a flat, thick, square leaded-pencil strapped down to the block by a metal clip and 2 screws. The very end of the pencil hangs below the wood block. The pencil is red with black vertical lines. Inscription on the pencil. Unknown use.
