Remarks:
Dress and Adornment, Personal Adornment Ritual Regalia. Foundation of woven string and twine overwrapped with natural corn husks and colored yarns. Front flap design in yarns- 3 flowers in red, pink and purple outlined with ink and purple with orange centers; 2 dark green buds with purple highlights; leaves and stems done in dark and light greens, edge bound with black velvet. Purse front design in yarns- 6 stepped geometric designs in pink and dark brown; triangles and lines in purple, green, dark brown and red. Purse back design also in yarns, one large tree motif of triangles in blue, maroon and pink; One half tree motif in red, dark brown and light pink; lines extending from large tree attach to triangular and "winged" motifs in purple, green, pink and orange, green, red, smoked buckskin strap handle sewn to upper back. Front flap ties to bottom edge with buckskin thongs.
