Remarks:
Dress and Adornment, Personal Adornment and Ritual Regalia. Beaded coin purse: Circular cloth front and back fully applique stitch beaded with small seed beads. One side has a bird with red/white hearts comb, light blue head, red/white hearts body, black wings and legs, tail of red/white hearts. Black, periwinkle blue, clear amber and clear pale pink; to the right of bird are 2 leaves in cut green, clear green and periwinkle and a tulip in periwinkle and light blues and red/white hearts outlined in black; below bird is a 7 petal flower in periwinkle, black and red/white hearts; background is white with scattered metallic beads around outer 2 rows; edge is bound with light blue interspersed with 4-4 row bands of red/white hearts. Other side has a white owl with clear amber eyes and highlights, black eyelashes and beak sitting on a branch of pearl white and cut clear purple; background is cut periwinkle with 2 rows of cut clear lime green around outside; border is cut light turquoise; edge is bound with light blue interspersed with 1-4 row band of clear dark red and 3-4 row bands of maroon. Metal zipper at top; buckskin strip inset between front and back: lining is green and purple floral print cloth.
