Ritual and Recreation: Musical Instruments. Bulbous rawhide top with seam, one half incised with a circle and 4 lines with triangles and (design--looks like two D's facing back to back with a space in the middle and attached to their bottoms is a V laid on its side with the points out) designs around edge, other half incised with 4 lines and a crescent; rawhide covered wood handle wrapped with twisted cord and leather thongs; bound into wrappings and trailing from end of handle is a section of dark brown horse hair (tail or mane).
