Remarks:
Knife sheath, rawhide; one piece folded over and laced with rawhide strips. Painted designs in green, red and black; all around border of green scallops and diamonds with red dots between diamonds; left side design of 2 facing green `arrowheads' connected with a red bar intersected by a black bar; right side design of 2 red diamonds with a green `arrowhead' between them. Laced into top of seam is a single 5/8" black enameled button with raised eagle, shield, arrows and olive branch and lettering. Non-Indian made. Condition: Paint is worn off in numerous places. Several breaks in lacing. Origin: Gift of Chris Young, in memory of James L. Young
