Remarks:
Shield, pointed center, eight feathers wrapped and tied on with dyed leather strips. tanned hide cover over the back of shield. Broad tanned hide handle stretched over back. Feathers are attached to a tanned hide overlay covering the topand draping down the sides of the shield. Cover is perferated, sinew laced through and tied. Sun painted on lower right 1/4. Constructed with red, black, and yellow pigments. Sun is on its side.
