James Bama first met Brian Petitt in Cody in 1983 at the Buffalo Bill Wild West show reenactment. Petitt was then working as a guide for the Rimrock Ranch located between Cody and Yellowstone Park. To Bama, Petitt represents a contemporary translation of the Old West cowboy--rough hewn and dangerous, with thoughts concealed beneath his hat and behind his sunglasses.
