Bama's work focuses on contemporary Westerners, however reminiscent they may be of Old West types. Slim Warren, a retired cowboy, was one of Bama's favorite local Cody subjects; he painted Slim nine times. The artist used warm, sepia-toned colors that convey nostalgia for past cowboy days.
