Remarks:
Spoke shave. Two handled wood piece with thin, sharp, metal blade set in piece facing wood. Metal ends of blade go through wood handle at either end, like a staple. 2 nails have been driven, in beside these ends with nail tops over ends. Leather tab with button hole is tacked onto left end of wood piece. Wood piece is angled and notched in center (under blade). Inscription on metal blade. Used to skive leather. Also used by woodworkers. See Osborne catalog #55, pg. 40.
