Remarks:
Spoke shave wooden tool, with metal blade fitted into tool. Screws stick out under wood to adjust blade. Very sharp end of blade (used for shaving) faces into wood. Two screws attach brass platform down in front of blade. Leather tab with button hole is nailed into wooden end & used to hang tool. Handles have been cut off. Used to skive leather. Also used by woodworkers like a draw knife. Inscription on bottom. See J. Dixon catalog, illus. #167.
