Remarks:
Spoke shave. Two handled wood piece with thin, sharp, metal blade set in piece facing wood. Brass piece covers wood the length of blade where blade faces it. Ends of blade go through wood and have brass thumb screws covering them. Wood is notched and angled in center (under blade). Remains of skived leather hang under blade. Leather tab tacked to left handle with button hole. Used to skive leather. Also used by woodworkers. See Gomph catalog, pg. 15 for similar item.
