Remarks:
Spoke shave. Small wood piece with thin sharp. Metal blade set in facing wood. Metal ends of blade go through wood handle at either end. Leather tab is tacked onto left end of wood piece with button hole for hanging. Handles have been cut off and crudely rounded. "XXII" notched under blade. Used for skiving leather. Also used by woodworkers. See Osborne catalog #55, pg. 22 for similar items.
