This painting is set in the majestic Teton Mountains near Jackson, Wyoming. Wipfler enjoys working on location, enabling her to capture the emotions as well as the beauty of a lazy spring day in this idyllic pasture. While painting this scene, a badger rustled around near her easel and a coyote wandered through the field.
