The Summer Camp
Whitney Purchase Fund
Sharp painted The Summer Camp when he lived at Crow Agency, Montana. To be able to paint year round on the Crow reservation, he built a log cabin home in 1905. That cabin, pictured at the left, has been moved to the museum's grounds and can be seen in the garden between the Whitney Gallery and the Cody Firearms Museum.
