Credit line: Gift of The Coe Foundation, Description: Woodlands bandolier bag; navy wool tradecloth pouch with loom beaded front panel of stars and diamonds in blue, pink, clear kelly green, clear red and red/white hearts on white ground; tassels have a loom beaded strip followed by 2 strings of large green, purple and light blue pony beads with red and purple yarn tassels; sides and top of front panel are bordered with greasy blue and white net woven bands; top of beaded panel and top edge of pocket are edged with red taffeta as is top of front panel where strap joins it; strap is loom beaded in a connecting diamond design in clear kelly green, light blue, pink, white, clear red and red/white hearts on light orange ground; outer edges of bag and strap are bound with green cloth which carries over to make the backing of the bag and strap. Condition: Fragile; wool is moth eaten; edges are faded and frayed; four tassels have lost their yarn and pony beads and some of the loom beading; whatever was attached at both bottom corners is gone. Origin: Original Studio Collection of artist Frederic S. Remington. Was previously accessioned in the PIM collection as NA.203.187 but is part of the Remington Studio Collection so it was deaccessioned from PIM and accessioned into Remington Studio Collection
