Remarks:
Leather cap completely covered with split ermine hides, split bison horn tipped with horse hair, full ermine tubes hanging from either side of head along with groupings of dyed and natural bird feathers, and yellow & red ribbon streamers. Quill wrapped commander feather from back of cap leading to the red wool cloth and leather full trailer of 28 cloth wrapped eagle feathers tipped in burgundy dyed horse hair and tipped with ermine fluff on both sides of feather. Wood stick tied in approx. half way down the trailer. Restoration evident with dyed horse hair, wool cloth on trailer, wrapping of feathers and ermine tips.
