Remarks:
Wooden tool holder. Metal handle on top and 2 front feet on either end. Three rows of bored holes. First row has 8 holes; second row has 7; third row has 8 rows. (Four holes noticeably smaller than others- they are in the four separate corners). When sitting with handle on top-the block tilts back so the tools slide in. According to Victor Alexander Jr., this was made by his father to hold his stamp tools. Four small holes held styluses for drawing pattern onto leather. Stamp tools were arranged in holes by type.
