Dress and Adornment - Status Symbols and Insignia of Office. War bonnet - brown felt hat; eagle feathers, bases wrapped with red cloth, red feathers and red dyed horse hair at tips; brow band beaded with geometric pattern in dark blue, light blue, orange, green, and red/white hearts on white ground; small round mirrors and white, red, orange, purple and green ribbons attached to flaps on each side; smaller feather and large feather quill attached to top of hat.
