Dress and Adornment - Status Symbols and Insignia of Office. War bonnet - leather; eagle feathers, white plumes at bases, red plumes at tips, bases wrapped in red cloth; brow band beaded with triangle pattern in dark blue, light blue, pink, yellow and white on red ground; rosette on each side beaded with pin-wheel pattern in red, yellow, blue and green on white ground; two white feathers hanging from each rosette; rosette with same pattern hanging from chin strap, large blue beads around edge, small dried animal's foot hanging from center of rosette by leather string beaded in red and green.
